How to keep my son from Charlie Sheen-ing...

I have been trying to avoid getting Charlie Sheen overdoses from the media lately.  True, some of the stuff is pretty funny, but when I hear people actually debating things like "Having Tiger Blood" it's a bit over the top.  Being a dad now, when I look from Charlie's crazed face on TV down to my little boys sweet smile, I worry what might be in store for him and how I can prepare him to avoid having a meltdown on national TV.
Is it a lack of fundamental values? Is it not having a core family unit that holds you responsible for your actions? I really don't know but I want Matty to understand that his actions bring consequence. I want to give him an understanding that he is a part of a community as a whole and needs to be a contributing member.  I guess it equates to the same thing as trying to keep your daughter off the pole frankly.
Is Charlie a first though, is he the only man to say crazy things that end up on T shirts? It's definitely happened in the past, a lot of fella's have let a statement loose that they wish that they could have taken back or that might have raised some eyebrows if found on a Tshirt @Amazon.. Here's a couple of examples:

You treat a lady like a dame, and a dame like a lady.
Frank Sinatra

You have to go on and be crazy. Craziness is like heaven.
Jimi Hendrix

Because I have a girlfriend, I try and take the straight and narrow path, which is good because it prevents VD.
Joe Rogan

I only take Viagra when I'm with more than one woman.
Jack Nicholson

-and then there is the arguably most quotable person of all time, Hunter S. Thompson:
"I feel the same way about disco as I do about herpes."
"I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me."
"If you're going to be crazy, you have to get paid for it or else you're going to be locked up."
"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro."
"You can turn your back on a person, but never turn your back on a drug, especially when its waving a razor sharp hunting knife in your eye."
Hunter S. Thompson

So the big question that I posed to myself... How to make my son have Tiger Blood without him knowing it...and have lots of goddesses....Feel free to leave me some comments with any advice! Thanks!

  1. You and Kim have already given Matty all the tigers blood he will need. From here on it is a day at a time and unquestioning love..for him and between you and Kim and he will be just fine..a man among men.
